We went to America

LA – take one

Well we travelled through all the towns along the coast like Malibu and Santa Monica where we seen amaaaazing beach houses (maybe one day…).
On the second day we went to universal studios (ah heeey!) which was awesome! We seen shizz like sets from Wisteria lane, The Day After Tomorrow, Jaws etc alongwith loads of other cool 3D rides like the Simpsons and Shrek.

There was also pretty notable rollercoasters… Now, those who know me know my fear. Drops. So after I had wolfed down a hotdog and fries we decided to go on Jurassic park ride, something I thought little of. WELL, something someone (not naming any names) forget to tell me about was the 84 foot drop into water.. Okay so I got over that. Then we went on the Mummy Returns rollercoaster. My face in the picture they take said it all, pure fear. It was uber fast and scary, well for me. Everyone else was happy. Including Cam. I hate him.

BUT THEN, he got his guns out and utilised them to their full potential using a hammer to smack down on the carnival thingy, hitting the bell at the top and won me a new pal! Candyfloss and new pal Jives helped settle the shock of said rollercoasters. YEY, ALL WAS GOOD IN THE WORLD AGAIN!

We also really wanted to go to a comedy club and managed to wangle free tickets to one, so that was fun. (No pictures are available of this since we were 2 of 14 people in the audience. Awkies. But funny.)

Anywaaaay, we are huge fans of the show Modern Family so we also used our time in LA to stalk the houses they film at, keeping in mind people actually live in them. If your asking if we managed to track down the different addresses and go and stand outside people’s houses taking pictures then yes that is exactly what we did. YOLO.
